About this event

The MoMoFest x Revival Concert is a free two-day music and community festival taking place from Friday, 4 September to Saturday, 5 September 2026 in Berekum, Bono Region, Ghana. Headlined by popular Ghanaian rapper Kweku Smoke, the homecoming event serves as the official launch for MTN MobileMoney Fintech LTD’s (MMFL) three-week digital banking and fraud awareness drive.

Event Venue & Schedule

Due to massive anticipation, organizers officially moved the festival to a larger venue to handle the crowds.

Venue: Mixed Park, Berekum (Moved from the originally planned Golden City Park).

Dates: Friday, 4 September – Saturday, 5 September 2026.Time: Gates open at 12:00 PM GMT daily.

Entry: Free access for everyone, though attendees are encouraged to download the MoMo App.

  • The festival is designed to combine entertainment with the promotion of cashless payments and digital safety. Attendees can look forward to:
  • The Main Concert: A massive live music show headlined by Kweku Smoke and friends on Saturday evening.
  • The Cashless Market: A dedicated local marketplace where vendors offer discounted food, clothing, and gadgets via MoMo payments.Keteke Game Show: Interactive games with opportunities for participants to win cash prizes up to GHS 10,000.
  • Financial Education & Safety: On-site hubs focusing on MoMo App registration, merchant setups, and critical fraud prevention tactics (such as transaction verification and PIN protection).
  • The 2026 festival is supported by prominent corporate partners, including Ecobank Ghana, Guinness Ghana Breweries, Ayo Ghana, and MTN Business. Following the Berekum launch, the MoMoFest activation train will continue to other major cultural events across Ghana, including the Asogli Festival and Rapperholic.
