About this event
NEW FACES. NEW ENERGY. ONE CAMPUS. PULSE & PLAY! 🔥
Every university journey begins with new experiences, friendships and memories. At KNUST, Freshers' Week is one of those moments when the excitement of campus life comes alive.
On Friday, 23rd October 2026, the Ghana Engineering Students' Association (GESA), KNUST, presents PULSE & PLAY, a Freshers' Week celebration bringing students together for music, entertainment and campus connection.
Taking place at the Engineering Car Park, Pulse & Play brings a special live rap performance by YPee, one of Kumasi's recognized hip-hop artists, whose energetic delivery and distinctive rap style have earned him a place in Ghana's contemporary music scene.
FROM THE STREETS OF KUMASI TO THE HEART OF KNUST.
YPee brings the sound of Kumasi hip-hop directly to the university community, creating a connection between the city's growing rap culture and the students who continue to support it.
For freshers beginning their journey at KNUST, Pulse & Play offers an opportunity to experience the social side of university life, meet fellow students and enjoy the excitement of their first Freshers' Week.
For continuing students, it is another occasion to reconnect with friends and celebrate the energy that makes campus life memorable.
The evening brings together the spirit of the engineering student community, Ghanaian music and the excitement of a new academic chapter.
PULSE & PLAY. THE CAMPUS HAS A NEW RHYTHM.
