## About this event

THE ROYAL RETREAT 2026: ESCAPE THE ROUTINE. EMBRACE THE EXPERIENCE! 🌴☀️ ONE DAY. A HUNDRED PEOPLE. COUNTLESS MOMENTS TO REMEMBER. Sometimes, all you need is a change of scenery, good company and a day away from your everyday responsibilities. On Saturday, 31st October 2026, A Walk With Cyrus The King presents THE ROYAL RETREAT, a special recreational and wellness experience designed to bring people together through movement, adventure, relaxation and meaningful social connections. Set against the inviting poolside atmosphere of Royal Elmount Hotel & Resort in Elmina, The Royal Retreat combines outdoor activities, music, games, wellness and social experiences into one exciting gathering. And with only 100 registration slots available, the event is designed for a limited group of participants. THE EXPERIENCE: MORE THAN JUST A DAY OUT The Royal Retreat is built around a simple idea: taking time away from the usual routine to reconnect with yourself, meet new people, explore new experiences and enjoy the moment. From an energizing morning walk to poolside relaxation and friendly games, the programme creates opportunities for participants to connect through shared activities. THE 1KM WALK: MOVE WITH PURPOSE The experience includes a one-kilometre walk, encouraging physical activity, movement and community participation. It's an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, embrace a healthy lifestyle and begin the experience through a shared activity. THE POOLSIDE ESCAPE: SWIM, RELAX AND UNWIND At the heart of The Royal Retreat is its relaxing poolside environment. Participants can enjoy swimming, socialize by the pool and appreciate the atmosphere of a resort getaway. Whether taking a refreshing swim or simply relaxing with friends, the poolside experience offers a welcome break from everyday routines. THE ADVENTURE: TREASURE HUNTS AND FRIENDLY COMPETITION The Royal Retreat introduces an exciting mix of recreational activities that bring out participants' playful and competitive sides. The programme includes treasure hunts, card games, UNO, Jenga, soccer, volleyball and other interactive challenges. These experiences encourage teamwork, friendly competition and spontaneous moments of fun. THE MUSIC: GOOD SOUNDS, GREAT COMPANY Music adds another dimension to the gathering, with live DJ entertainment providing the soundtrack for the day's activities. From relaxed poolside moments to social games and celebrations, the music creates a lively atmosphere throughout the retreat. CONNECT, CREATE AND EXPLORE Beyond the games and entertainment, The Royal Retreat creates opportunities for networking and content creation. Participants can meet new people, build friendships, capture memorable moments and explore the hotel environment through the scheduled hotel tour. The retreat also features cardio activities, adding a fitness component to the day's recreational programme. FOOD, DRINKS AND LITTLE TREATS No retreat is complete without something enjoyable to eat. The event programme features food, drinks, popcorn and tasting experiences, giving participants opportunities to enjoy refreshments while socializing and taking part in activities. FREE BUS TRANSPORT AVAILABLE To support participation, the event advertises a free bus service.
